Countdown: 15 days to opening of the 26th Shandong Provincial Games

The opening ceremony of the 26th Shandong Provincial Games will be held in Linyi in 15 days, with all venue construction, volunteer service and competition preparation work entering the final sprint stage.

As the host city, Linyi has built standardized competition venues at Linyi Olympic Sports Park and sub-stadiums in multiple counties and districts. Complete supporting facilities including athlete lounges, media centers and medical emergency stations have been fully installed and passed acceptance inspection.

Over 800 city volunteers have completed systematic etiquette, event guidance and emergency training, and all service stations covering stadiums, transport hubs and scenic spots are ready for operation. Traffic optimization schemes, summer heat prevention guarantee plans and catering security systems have been fully finalized to ensure smooth games operation.

The organizing committee released full competition schedules, spectator visiting guidelines and traffic diversion plans via official platforms. A series of promotional videos and themed cultural activities have been launched to showcase Linyi’s red culture, industrial vitality and urban charm to athletes and audiences from all over Shandong.

All departments coordinate closely to polish every detail of the provincial games, striving to deliver a distinctive, orderly and memorable comprehensive sports event that displays the spiritual outlook of the old revolutionary base of Yimeng.
